Well none of us ever thought we would have been separated from our oars for so long. And whilst we get to zoom and WhatsApp or experiences of lockdown with each other to keep the team spirits up one family has had better luck.
Club members from the McClements family have been able to row together as a family bubble when restrictions have suited their family of 5 i.e. a cox and 4 rowers. They have been enjoying rowing for their daily exercise whilst other members have looked on wistfully. This sight has fairly lifted our spirits on shore and reminds us that hopefully soon we will all be able to get back into the boats and onto the water for some fun, fresh air and banter.
